ACRC At Large

Our club is dedicated to raising the awareness of flying radio control aircraft through recruiting new members, educating the public and encouraging spectators to visit our events and meetings.

We have a team of seasoned, dedicated, and experienced instructors to train new members one-on-one, from first flight to solo and on through advanced training. Email instruction@anoka-rc.com and ask to schedule a free discovery flight. One of our instructors will guide you as they let you take the controls and fly one of our training airplanes. This is a service provided by our club for anyone interested in radio control aircraft.

ACRC provides its club members with:
  • A flying field with a paved runway
  • Participation in fun flying events and social activities
  • Contact with other experienced builders and fliers
  • Assistance assembling and flying your airplane, helicopter or quadcopter.
  • Spring, summer, and fall, we fly almost daily with fun events held on weekends. Come out to our field to meet us, and enjoy an exciting day of radio control model airplane flight. Click here to see our schedule of upcoming events.

    Community Involvement
We're active with the Boy Scouts of America.

We encourage youth participation through on-field flight training where youth get to take the stick and fly club provided trainer airplanes with an instructor.

ACRC members patronize local businesses and hobby shops.
